Obituary

Anna Lea Jones, age 89, of Crane, Missouri, passed away at 11:55 a.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at her home.  She was born November 18, 1927, in Union City, Missouri, the daughter of the late Joseph Lonzo and Grace Jane (Wilson) White.

Anna was a home maker and of the Pentecostal faith.  She loved her husband J. William and family and enjoyed life, crafts, gambling and traveling.

On November 10, 1951, she married J. William Jones, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, J. William; son, Donnie Wilks and his wife, Faye, of Hurley, Missouri; two daughters, Betty Timper and her husband, Geoffrey, of Crane and Deborah Coffer and her husband, Don, of Aurora; two sister-in-law’s, Sue Ann Jones of Crane and Hazel White of Aurora; eight grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, Joseph and Grace, two sisters, Gladys Powell and Louise Conrad, two brothers, Wade and Wilburn White and great-granddaughter, Delaney Jewell Little, preceded her in death.

A graveside service, under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 28, 2017, at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.

Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in care of the funeral home.
