Marvin Lewis Price
Marvin Lewis Price, age 92, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away at 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2017, at his home. He was born October 17, 1924, in Miami, Oklahoma, the son of Jess and Alta (Mercer) Price.
Marvin was a Navy Veteran serving during World War II. He retired from Syntex in Verona, after 22 years and then from Walmart after 15 years. He was a member of the Aurora Baptist Temple.
On March 28, 1961, he married Laura Jean Larkin in Phoenix, Arizona.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Laura; three children, Deborah Eutsler and her husband, Jeff, of Aurora, Rick Kerns and his wife, Lisa, of Monett, Missouri and Bob Price and his wife, Becky, of Wentworth, Missouri; 50 grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
His parents, Jess and Alta, sister, Juanita, an infant daughter and niece, Judy, preceded him in death.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 14, 2017, at the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora. Burial will follow at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora. Visitation will be held from 2:00–4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 13, 2017, in the funeral home chapel.
Memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or the Wounded Warriors Project, in care of the funeral home.
